MEMBERSHIP

Become a card-carrying member of the ACLU of West Virginia!

If you haven't joined the approximately 2,000 Mountaineers who proudly carry an ACLU membership card, now is the time to do so! Members are the backbone of our organization. Growth in membership increases our lobbying ability and our financial strength. It also bolsters the real homeland security of knowing you're a part of an organization that is the premier civil liberties watchdog, and if necessary, bulldog.

As a member of ACLU-WV, you automatically become a member of the national ACLU, as well as the local chapter in your area. ACLU chapters currently include:

The state affiliate and local chapters have numerous educational and social events throughout the year.

As a member, you'll receive a membership card, a subscription to the ACLU-WV newsletter, The Mountain Torch, and a subscription to the national ACLU newsletter, Civil Liberties.

Membership dues for ACLU-WV are $20 a year for an individual and $30 annually for a joint membership. Joint membership represents two members in a household. Membership dues are not tax-deductible since they support our legislative work in the West Virginia legislature and in Congress.

To become a card-carrying member, please complete and print the NEW MEMBER FORM and mail it to us with your payment.
