ACLU-WV Bus Trip to the Poor People's March on Washington, D.C.

The ACLU of West Virginia is excited to attend the Poor People’s and Low-Wage Workers’ Assembly and Moral March on Washington, D.C. on June 18th.  We would love for you to ride the bus with us and spend this day rallying for issues we care about in D.C.

Our bus will pick up passengers on June 17th in Huntington, Charleston, and Morgantown and stop in Charles Town for the evening. Lodging will be provided to bus riders from Huntington, Charleston, and Morgantown. On June 18th, the day of the march, the bus will pick up remaining passengers in Charles Town and depart for the march. In the afternoon, the bus will return home, stopping to let off bus riders in Charles Town, Morgantown, Charleston, and finally Huntington.  Meals and water will be provided during the trip. There is no cost to participants.

*Please note: To keep all of our participants as safe as possible, we are requiring all bus riders to provide proof of vaccination and a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the trip. This information must be presented at the bus pick up location, and any participant who does not provide this information will not be permitted to enter the bus. KN95 masks will also be required while riding the bus (when not eating/drinking) and will be provided. Lastly, please contact us if you develop COVID symptoms and cannot make the trip as soon as possible and please inform us if you develop symptoms while on the trip or shortly
