Outspoken Documentary Screening & Panel Discussion

October 10, 2019 @ 6:00 pm 7:30 pm

Join ACLU of West Virginia, OUT MOV, Parkersburg Pride, and Planned Parenthood South Atlantic for a free screening of Outspoken Documentary at WVU Parkersburg.

Outspoken tells the story of the LGBTQ community in Parkersburg as they fight for their right to live free from discrimination. The film offers an unexpected voice from a region where LGBTQ people are underrepresented. Collectively, their stories call us to reimagine the power of a small town queer community.

Following the film, a panel including the four main subjects of the film the film's Director and Producer Emily Harger, and the event's sponsors for a discussion about life for the LGBTQ community in Parkersburg and throughout West Virginia.
