Sharon Lewis has served the Women’s Health Center of West Virginia, the state’s only abortion care provider, for 31 years. That’s most of the WHC’s existence. For the past 21 years, she has served as its executive director.
Born and raised in Charleston, she holds a master’s degree in counseling from West Virginia College of Graduate Studies.
She has served on the Board of Directors of the National Abortion Federation, the West Virginia Primary Care Association and WV FREE. Sharon currently serves as a board member of the Partners in Health Network, Inc.
