The U.S. House of Representative has passed the Build Back Better bill. We are one step closer to securing the passage of the strongest possible legal protections for our loved ones, neighbors, and co-workers who came to the U.S. as immigrants.

If Congress does not pass immigration reform measures this year, millions of people will be forced to continue to live in fear of deportation.

Senator Manchin needs to act urgently to make sure immigrants are given these full legal protections. Immigrants have built lives, homes, families in our communities and have endlessly contributed to our state. If the immigration provisions are removed from the bill, hundreds of unprotected people in West Virginia risk discrimination, wage theft by employers and even deportation and family separation.

Call Senator Manchin and urge him to support these protections for immigrants in the Build Back Better plan and to refuse to settle for less. Tell him to oppose any efforts to weaken protections for immigrants and our families.
