The ACLU-WV Bill of Rights Brunch is back!

We’ll be celebrating at noon on Sunday, November 15, 2026, at Charleston Marriott (200 Lee Street).

This year’s honorees include Lani Wean for her extensive work on behalf of immigrant families and ICE rapid response, Black by God founder and publisher Crystal Good, and Becky Pepper-Jackson, who bravely challenged West Virginia’s discriminatory trans athlete ban at the U.S. Supreme Court.

We’ll also be enjoying the distinctively Appalachian musical craftsmanship of Megan Jeans’ Secret Family!

It’s been a heavy year across the nation and in West Virginia, but the fire of hope still burns hot as we’ve stood up together and pushed back. Thank you for doing your part. We hope to see you at brunch to celebrate our wins, mourn our losses and chart a way forward, together.
