Ahead of the 2026 Election, we sent questionnaires to candidates running for the WV House of Delegates and the WV Senate. There are 100 House of Delegate seats and 17 State Senate seats on the ballot this November.

The ACLU of West Virginia sent questions to all candidates to gauge their positions on ICE, the death penalty, voting rights, and other issues.

These responses have been provided by the candidates and have not been edited by us. The ACLU is non-partisan. We do not endorse candidates, and these responses are for voter education only.
