ACLU-WV staff members spoke at this morning's public hearing on Senate Concurrent Resolution 4, a call for a Constitutional Convention to impose term limits on members of Congress.  

With a unanimous vote, the Morgantown City Council has become the first municipality in West Virginia to effectively decriminalize cannabis.   

Today ACLU-WV issued a position statement to members of the House of Delegates asking them to reject House Bill 4155, which would require applicants for plumbers' licenses to obtain work authorization through the E-Verify system.

On February 16, the ACLU of West Virginia issued a position statement to members of the House Judiciary Committee on House Bill 2732 or the 'Defend the Guard Act.'

A City of Beckley ordinance restricting when individuals may erect political signage is unconstitutional and should be scrapped, ACLU-WV told city officials in a letter today.

This morning the ACLU-WV came out with activists and advocates from across the state to speak out against House Bill 4615, the Critical Infrastructure Protection Act.
