We’re launching the first ever ACLU-WV pop-up art show! The exhibit features an amazing collection of political cartoons, all dealing with freedom of speech. The exhibit includes works from some of the most well renowned political cartoonists in the country (listed below), including numerous Pulitzer Prize winners.

The exhibit is a one-night only event at 123 West German Street in downtown Shepherdstown on December 16, starting at 6:00p.m. There will be live music, food and great discussion.  At 7:00p.m., ACLU-WV Executive Director Joseph Cohen will facilitate a discussion with political cartoonist and exhibit curator Gary Huck. This exclusive conversation will touch on the use of political cartoons as a tool for public discourse, accountability and the future of the medium in the current political climate.  You don’t want to miss it!
